My mum smiled and nodded, my dad did the same.
I went up to my room, which overlooked the mountains and nearby town.
Great, my relatives are coming. The ones who like American football and loud music and 'cheeseburgers'. Ugh, give me haggis any day! I thought, plopping down on my bed.
You might want to tell everybody what haggis is... (I know, but don't exactly want to say...) :D

DeleteHere's what haggis is: Haggis is a savoury pudding containing sheep's pluck (heart, liver and lungs); minced with onion, oatmeal, suet, spices, and salt, mixed with stock, and traditionally encased in the animal's stomach and simmered for approximately three hours. Most modern commercial haggis is prepared in a sausage casing rather than an actual stomach.
